Short blog: Online Shopping A Boon

Since the advent of online Shopping life has become more easy and convenient.

Benefits of Online Shopping are numerous, biggest one would be it saves time!! A ton of it. You can do a 5km of running, 10 push ups and couple of high jumps instead of shopping for 2-3 hrs.

It has enabled us to buy different products across the globe within seconds, which offline seems almost impossible unless of course you have access to teleportation.

Online Shopping has many many such advantages and if I start to talk about them it wouldn’t be a short blog anymore.

Have a great day!

  1. The new generations, with their over busy lifestyles might prefer the click of the mouse to a human encounter, where small talks can make all the difference to those shop assistances and the costumers in their emotional state of being. For us elderlies shopping offers often the only possibility for human-to-human interaction! And what about those small towns, their high streets are lined with boarded up shop fronts. Where will find young people their first jobs if not in those local retail outlets? Do we really want to live in a world, where every one is cooped up in their individual virtual bubble?

    1. I do agree with that perspective of yours, however I believe as far as jobs are concern the young generation can still work in retail shops as for online shopping products are delivered to us from a store, so I don’t really think jobs would be an issue.
Human interaction between shop keepers and customers would be lost in the world of online shopping indeed…that sadly would be the dark side of online shopping.

  2. Thank you for sharing!!.. I do most of my shopping online for many reasons… as for human interaction, there is the local pub, diner, library and other places too numerous to mention… πŸ™‚

    Until we meet again..
May flowers always line your path
    and sunshine light your way,
    May songbirds serenade your
    every step along the way,
May a rainbow run beside you
in a sky that’s always blue,
And may happiness fill your heart
each day your whole life through.

  3. I love online shopping, partly because I have a disability, am a wheelchair user, and don’t have a car or any other form of transport. Although I can travel to town in my wheelchair, if I need a large item, I have no choice but to buy it online. Therefore, it’s essential for me, and I don’t know how I’d manage without it. It’s invaluable, in my opinion. If I need to see people, there are always the small local shops, the library or I arrange to have friends over. I’m very happy doing all this. I do worry about the children and people of the future, though. Will they all be sitting in their little individual bubbles and never socialising? I hope it doesn’t come to that. I’m glad I found your blog, Butterfly. It’s very refreshing. Thanks for sharing. Ellie 😊

    1. I actually never thought about online shopping from that perspective, but yes it is super helpful for people who are not able to go out often.

You know sometimes I think future would be the way they show in movies, people have become super fat, they travel in some sort of flying chair and robots do all there work, even of choosing something, and all of us super engaged in our day-to-day activities that we aren’t social anymore, but then again I also think that this won’t be the case and the future would be a better version of us humansπŸ˜… what is your perspective πŸ‘€

I’m glad to meet you as well XD
Hope you have a fantastic day! Stay healthy πŸ˜„

      1. Thank you for replying to my comment, Butterfly. I love your name, by the way. I like to think you’re right; that will be a better type of human being by then. I hope so anyway. If so, I think it will be a long way off into the future. I doubt that even the current generation will experience it. I guess only time will tell. Take care. Ellie x πŸŒžπŸ’πŸŒΉ
